during free time
you can walk down (just 3–5 minutes) to the beautiful, peaceful and still undiscovered beach of Lefka — either with the tribe or on your own.
Or you can relax in one of the DeepZen tents
Or explore the area — there’s so much to see.
Or create something magical with
the materials we provide
Or clear your mind by coloring mandalas
Or offer a bit of seva yoga (yoga of service) by taking care of the vegetable garden — and it will reward you with its fresh gifts!
Or read a book.
Or simply do nothing at all… just sit back and gaze at the endless blue of the Ionian Sea!
rest & personal time
Life at DeepZeN is spacious and unhurried.
Between sessions and activities, there is time to pause, rest and simply be.
Across the land, you will find shaded communal areas designed for relaxation — to lie down, read, journal, nap
or listen to the wind and birds.
For those who wish to deepen their connection with nature, there is the option to sleep to the farm, without any financial exchange, as part of the shared retreat experience.
This option is available only to participants – members of the ΝΤιπΖεΝ tribe and is based on personal responsibility.
Each person brings their own personal items (sheets, towels, etc.).
Or participants are welcome to choose accommodation in the surrounding area, according to their personal comfort and needs.
| sharing flavours & stories |
| When people from different parts of the world come together, the kitchen becomes a place of connection. At DeepZeN, participants often share favourite recipes from their home countries, cooking together, learning from one another and exchanging flavours, stories and cultures. This process is spontaneous and self-organized, guided by joy and participation, with no food service or catering provided, as part of the shared experiential retreat journey. |
food & shared care
Food at DeepZeN is simple, conscious and shared.
A communal, fully equipped kitchen is available exclusively to participants for individual or collective cooking
There is no food service or catering. Meals are prepared and enjoyed through self-organization,
personal responsibility and a spirit of cooperation.
Depending on the season, the garden and the land offer fresh vegetables and fruits that participants may harvest, prepare and enjoy as part of the experiential connection with nature.
